I talk about it a lot, but fashion, albeit one of the best things in the world, it can also be one of the most frustrating. Styles and trends are forever evolving and unless you earn a lot and have a large wardrobe capacity it can be almost impossible to keep up with.
I am always on the lookout for brands that offer the latest trends at affordable
prices and one of my absolute favourite Instagram pages to scroll through is
Femme Luxe Finery. If you follow them then you are fully aware of how dreamy
all their pieces are.
So when I opened my mailbox to see an email from them offering a
collaboration, I was over the moon. Browsing their site was a dream, it really
is a one stop shop. They stock the cosiest loungewear, swimsuits, a huge range
of going out dresses and day time dresses, jeans, bodysuits, trousers. You name
it, they got it.
2020 for me is not about fast fashion. It’s about finding clothing that I genuinely love and will wear time and time again. This was the perfect opportunity to find some new items that I’m able to mix and match and style in various ways.
The first thing that immediately stood out to me were the leather look leggings. Leggings are easily the most comfortable item of clothing I own, so I am always looking for styles that are comfortable yet fashionable and these are the perfect combo.
They are so versatile, I’m able to dress these up or down easily. Paired with a clean pair of AF1’s or some chunky boots and an oversized shirt or sweat for a day time look. Or to make it an evening look I’d throw on some strappy heels or heeled boots, a bodysuit and a blazer, as shown a little further down this post.
Oversized is my favourite style. I live in oversized everything,
joggers, hoodies, sweats, coats, jackets. You name it. There is just something
about that effortless look that is so chic. So when I saw this oversized dress,
in khaki too, I fell in love. T-shirt dresses, utility belts and chunky
trainers are a Summer staple for me and this fit is so bomb.
I am suddenly so obsessed with printed trousers, so when I clicked on
their trousers I was so happy to see these beautiful camo’s. It is one of the
best prints, and I love styling it. I always get yeezy vibes from these kind of
outfits. For an evening look I’d wear with my chunky heeled boots and this brown
crop or a bodysuit. However, to make this appropriate for a day time look I’d
wear the camo trousers with a nude long sleeved crop top and Timberland’s.
Can we also just talk about how amazing this crop top is btw? Their crop top collection is out of this world.
I love wearing mesh tops and blazers, but have never been able to nail the look I want. I have been looking for the perfect black bodysuit for so long to go under them, as I think it looks so good. I browsed Femme Luxe’s collection of black lace bodysuits and came across the perfect one. The look and fit is amazing, and it serves the exact purpose of what I want. It holds everything in place well, it’s form fitting and very flattering. Black is always slimming, so I’m really happy with how this makes my body look. I’m not the most confident when it comes to clothing and I don’t wear revealing clothing very often, but I would happily wear this out with some bright coloured cigarette trousers and strappy heels on a night out.
Overall, I am thrilled with my Femme Luxe Finery haul. Everything I
chose looks great and fits well, which can’t always be expected from an online
fashion site. The quality of all the items I received is exceptional and, as I
listed above, they are all extremely affordable and they have regular sales too. Every item mentioned in this post is currently on sale!
Even though this post was in collaboration with the brand and they
