Why Fashion Weeks Do Not Excite Me Anymore
I remember years ago, whenever Fashion Week would approach I'd spend hours trawling through the internet, visiting blogs and scrolling through twitter in a hope to see what unique concepts and styles might make an appearance. However in today's day, that couldn't be further from the truth. I prefer to avoid social media altogether. Yes, I still like to see who wore what and what looks were debuted, but the novelty has worn off entirely. It used to be all about the fashion. The new collections, what and who would be walking the runway, who is sitting on the frow etc. It was a fashion lovers favourite time of year and it was so elite. Now it just seems like a competition between bloggers on who can wear the most ridiculous and outrageous outfit possible. If you actually turn up in something on trend and fashionable, you barely get noticed. ...
