Stila Colour Correcting Serum - A 3-in-1 serum used to colour correct your skin. I use this as a primer to prep my face as well as reduce redness and brighten.

LA Girl Pro Concealer - A high coverage concealer that I use in a few shades lighter than my skin tone to cover and brighten my dark circles and to enhance my cupids bow, brow bone and forehead. Bonus - It's mega cheap!

NYX Concealer Wand in Green - A colour correcting concealer that I use to neutralise the redness around my nose and any spots.

Bare Minerals Bareskin Foundation - A very lightweight foundation which makes it perfect to wear all day long. My only issue is that it isn't very build-able, and therefore does very little to cover pigmentation and blemishes etc. (On offer!!)

Maybeline Matte Maker Powder - A favourite of mine that I use to set my foundation. It's super affordable, extremely lightweight and mattifies any shininess.

Seventeen Contour Kit - As the contour colour in this palette is so light in wear and colour, it creates a very natural chiseled look. I use the the highlight to set my under eyes and around my nose.

Mac Desert Rose - Forever my favourite blush, I have nothing else to say on the matter. I apply very lightly starting at the apples of my cheeks and up towards my temples.

Morphe Warm Palette - I require 3 main colours from this palette; a base colour which is a light nude shadow, a crease colour which is a medium brown shadow and a outer corner colour which is a dark brown shadow.

Collection Eyeliner - This eyeliner is my second favourite, only shortly behind my Kat Von D tattoo liner (which is God's gift, so hard to beat). It's around £3 and such a great product for beginners or someone looking to improve their liner game.

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara - I use this mascara to add length to my lashes.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara - I follow the Lancome with this mascara to volumise and thicken my lashes.

Seventeen Brow Kit - Seriously, if you are looking for an affordable eyebrow kit - This is it! It includes a pencil, a brush, wax, powder and a brow bone highlight for around £6. Easy to use, and great quality. When I use this I don't need any other brow products.

NYX Lip Cream in Abu DhabiMac Subculture Liner - I use this combo to create a natural lip. I use the liner to overline my lips, and fill it in with the lip cream which dries matte.

What are some of your everyday make up items?

With the likes of Instagram and Youtube etc. we are surrounded by our favourite bloggers raving about new beauty products that we have to try. But let's be real, there is no possible way we could afford every single one, so the one's we do buy we want them to be money well spent.

I know I've been a sucker who has wasted money on expensive products, when I could've got something better from a drugstore for a much more desirable price.

However, with that being said, there have been products, both high end and drugstore, where I have spent the money and they have exceeded my expectations.

1. Kylie Jenner Lip Kit

I will always recommended these lipsticks until I am blue in the face. They are the best in terms of pigmentation, colour range, application and staying power. Although they are very very pricey, due to importing them from US, they are still a fantastic product and my make up bag is never without one.

2. Kat Von D Liquid Liner

I spent a long ass time looking for the perfect eyeliner. One that was easy to apply, stayed in place all day long and didn't transfer onto my eyelids (hooded eye problems, amirite?) and I finally found just that. I swear by this make up line, and the fact that it has been introduced to Debenhams in the UK is the icing on the cake.

3. LA Girl Pro Conceal

Not a high end product, but this product is up there with some of the best concealers, and instead of spending 10 times what you would on a concealer from Nars or Urban Decay you are so much better off buying this product. You'll find that even some of the top Youtube MUA's use this for the under eyes. A must have in any make up bag.

4. Anastasia Beverley Hills Dip Brow Pomade

With the brow obsession of 2016, I spent a lot of time and a lot of money trying to perfect my eyebrow routine. However, it turns out all I really needed to do was buy this product. It answers all my prayers. Super quick to apply, and you can create a variety of looks with it. Whether that will be just filling in a few sparse areas, or drawing on a whole new brow shape. The possibilities are endless..

5. Coconut Oil

AKA The Holy Grail. Coconut oil is my saviour, not only do I use it for my beauty routines but you can also make really tasty meals with it, but that's a whole other thing. So, why does every person need a jar of coconut oil in their house? It is great for hydrating your skin after you've taken your face off at the end of the day, and will remove any left over make up you might have missed. Once a week soak your hair in the oil and leave over night, you will see amazing results in the texture, shine and length of your hair. Use it on your lips, eyelashes and eyebrows to keep them hydrated and stimulate growth. Focusing on your problem areas, apply the product to your skin to help relieve dryness.

What products would you recommend as 'Worth the Hype?'

My new years resolution was to be more organised and in order to do that, it is important to have a regular routine in place. The first thing I decided to implement was an efficient night time routine. Obviously, this doesn't always go to plan when I have places to be and people to see but generally this is something that I do like to stick to.

Once I get in from my day at work, the first thing I will do is cook my dinner for the evening. I like to ensure my meals are quite healthy, and I'm not constantly putting lots of bad stuff into my body. I don't lead a completely healthy lifestyle, and my eating habits are not strict. But I do believe every little helps! If you would like to see more on the food I eat and recipes I follow then do let me know in the comments.

When I have finished my dinner, I will then head upstairs and get ready for my shower. I use the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Water Cleanser. A perfect product for dry and sensitive skin! This is to remove my days make up and any junk from the day.

I know many people prefer to shower in the morning, but my hair simply takes too long to dry and I can't be dealing with that shit when I'm running late for work already. So, in the shower I use my Neutrogena Black Head Eliminator face wash along with my Champney's Facial Exfoliater and Cleanser.

I could not recommend getting an electric facial brush any more, it is one of the best beauty products I own, I never knew my skin could look so healthy and smooth. Unfortunately the one I use is no longer available, but you can find a similar item here from No. 7.

Once I am out the shower, I apply a cleansing moisturiser, just to remove any excess make up or pollution that my face wash didn't manage to remove. My current cleanser is the Simple Purifying Cleansing Lotion. I do love this product, as it has no scent and it doesn't irritate my skin in anyway, especially after I have used a vigorous face brush.

Every few days I will use a face mask after this stage. My current favourite is the L'oreal Clay Mud Mask. You apply a light layer of this and leave it on for 15 minutes.

During that 15 minutes I will get my clothes out ready for the next day and once they are up I will remove the mask with a damp wash cloth and apply the Garnier Toner to my fresh face.

My favourite part of my night routine is when I moisturise. I looove moisturising my skin, and I do use a a fair few products so it will soak in overnight.

After the toner, I will use Coconut Oil on the areas of my skin that are particularly dry, so around my nose and chin area and then on my lashes and brows, to keep them healthy and stimulate that growth!

Finally, I will use my Garnier Moisture Bomb Night Cream all over my face and neck. I do use a good helping, as I said earlier I want it to soak into my skin overnight and I apply my lip balm, especially in the winter nights as those lips get quite dusty.

Next, I focus on my hair. I don't use many products in my hair but before using any heat, I ensure my hair is protected with the Vo5 Mousse in the roots of my hair and to give it some va-va-volume.

Finally, I apply my Moroccan/Argan Oil to the ends of my hair and throughout the length.

When I have finished all these tedious tasks, I will either open my laptop and work on some new content for my blog, or catch up on my TV programmes and browse Insta and Twitter to catch up with you guys.

And finally, once I have watched all there is to watch, and eaten all there is to eat I will brush my teeth and get into bed ready to do it all over again tomorrow!

What are some of your New Years Resolutions?

This is currently one of go to outfits. It's casual enough to wear during the day for lunch or coffee with the girls, but I actually wore this out for my birthday meal out on a Friday night and still got loads of compliments. I'm all about the versatility.

These two items are some of my personal favourites. I am obsessing over satin shirts, I currently own 3 that I have bought over the last few months and they just look so sleek on. Also, I kinda feel like a dolphin wearing them as they are so soft on your skin.

Satin is in everywhere, so this shirt is a perfect piece to have in your wardrobe at the moment.

Everyone and their grandmother owns some variation of these pleated culottes, and rightly so! They are sooo comfy, and can easily be dressed up or down. To wear these more casually combine with an oversized jumper, or white slogan tee and trainers. Being the short arse that I am I actually had to DIY these myself as the length was way too long.

If I could pick one style of shoe to wear for the rest of my life it would be black heeled ankle boots. I love them with dresses, jeans, skirts, and now pleated culottes. I own so many but will never have enough and will never stop buying them either! #GuiltyPleasure

How do you style your culottes?

This is one of favourite posts to read from my bloggers as I love to be super nosy and see what they consider essentials. So I couldn't wait to write this myself as it means I get to share with you my necessities and see how many of you are like me, or whether I'm totally strange and am over packing.

The Bag

My bag is Marc Jacobs. I received it from my parents for Christmas last year and is still in perfect condition. Usually I change my bag every year, but I can't convince myself to get rid of this one just yet.

The Essentials

Purse, Keys, Phone, Girl Things

My current purse is this Michael Kors black one. It's very simple, and with the gold detailing matches my bag quite well. It's super spacious on the inside, which is perfect for me as I'm always shoving receipts in there and my acrylic nails can't be dealing with those tight spaces.

The Space Takers

Sunglasses, Notebook and Pen, Lense Kit, Calculator, Umbrella

I love these sunglasses, I just hate how little I get to wear them in this country. They are Armani, and I managed to get these from the outlet called Cheshire Oaks. They were an absolute steal, and are always in my bag as you never know when the sun might wanna show his face.

I often carry a notebook and pen with me, as most bloggers do. I don't get inspiration for new posts by opening my laptop and logging onto Blogger. I get inspired by things I see when I am out and about, but it's totally unrealistic for me to remember them all off the top of my head, so I make it easy for myself and jot them down in here. The other alternative, if you don't want to take up so much room, is using the Notes app on your phones.

I carry this small lense kit around with me, as it means whenever I'm out and come across something I need to capture, it improves the quality my iPhone would give me.

Yes, I carry a calculator. You may think this is strange, not only because I have a calculator app on my phone, but also because it's my handbag? What am I thinking. The only answer I can give you is that I work in Finance, but the truth is I'm extra AF. Let's just move on..

The Health and Beauty Products

Mirror, Make Up, Lip Balm, Toothbrush, Medicine, Hand Gel

I carry a toothbrush, with no toothpaste. Don't ask me why, I don't know myself. It wasn't until recently that my brother said that makes me look like a lady of the night. So I might rethink this one.

I overload on meds, because you really never know when you might need it. The only downside to this is, I'm the person people come to when they need their fix, so I'm dishing them out like a drug lord. Period pains? I got chu! Migraine? I got it covered. Added cool factor, without the illegal stuff.

The Unnecessary Extras

Snacks, Chewing Gum, Tic Tacs, Phone Charger, Receipts, Headphones, General Junk

I'm not joking you, this is legit how many snacks I carry around with me and I'm not willing to comment on it any more. Don't judge me.

It's pretty bad isn't it, that I literally cannot leave my house without a phone charger. Since when did that become a thing? Ah well, I ain't complaining, but my grandparents do!

Am I overpacking? What weird stuff do you carry around in your bag?

Lately I've been a little bit of a stress head worrying over the smallest and simplest things. But that was until I figured that the only way out of it, was to change the way my mind operates. I've always appreciated Buddhism, it's a peaceful, beautiful outlook on life and after I looked a little further into it I found that it's honestly very refreshing.

Now I'm not saying that I'm going to go full Buddhist monk, and never speak again but what I did decide to do was channel some of their beliefs into my everyday routine, and it made me appreciate life just that little bit more.

I thought I would share with you my top tips on: How To Add A Little Zen To Your Life.

1) Don't Multitask.

If you have a bunch of things to do, create a list so you don't forget, and go through each of them one by one until you're done. Don't stress about doing them as quickly as possible!

2) Spend A Little More Time On Certain Things.

As you now have your list of things to do, spend a little extra time on each task. This means you don't rush it, and you can do whatever it is to the best of your ability as you're not half arsing it trying to get it done.

3) Find Your 'Zen Garden.'

This should be a place where you can relax, and take some quiet time for yourself. Ensure that it isn't a cluttered, enclosed space, but somewhere open and chill. Side note, it's always good to spend a little time here without your phone!!

4) Quit Worrying.

Whatever it is you are stressing about, I can assure you that once it's over you will think, why was I so worried about that in the first place? Try to remember that!

5) Eat Good, Feel Good.

I know we all love our maccies and KFC, and I'm not saying to cut that out completely. But having 3 full meals a day, plenty of fruit and veg not only makes your eating habits more healthy, but it also improves the way you feel, and look!

6) Think Positive.

Be the glass half full kind of person. Not only is it not nice to be around the pessimists, but when you're only surrounded by negativity it can make you feel like that too. But if you believe in yourself and your capabilities you can achieve anything you want to.

7) Be At Peace With Yourself.

Don't set your expectations for yourself too high, focus on yourself and appreciate every little thing life has gifted you with. One of the hardest things in today's society is realising our inner beauty. We are focused on the outside beauty of people we see in the magazines, and comparing yourself to those will only kill you. When you can truly accept who you are, then I think you're close to conquering the world.

8) Good Karma.

One thing that I believe in with all of my heart is karma. I think that what you give out to the world, the world reciprocates that back to you. Therefore, if you're giving bad vibes to someone, you're only opening yourself up to receive them too. Likewise, if somebody is jealous or nasty to you with no reasoning, the world will have your back and karma will do it's job!

With these few small steps you could find yourself feeling much more enlightened and just generally happy, and lets be real, our only goal in life should be to be happy!

What do you do to relax and zen out?

A while ago I posted about a haul I did on my birthday weekend, however, as it was that big I have had to split it into two! There are worse problems in the world I guess..

There are two times a year when it is totally acceptable to do gigantic hauls for your wardrobe, and that is during the January sales and the Summer sales. Without going into it too much detail, as I have in my previous post that you can see here,(LINK) I'm just going to jump right in.

All Saints

AKA Heaven on Earth. This place is an absolute dream, and wait till I tell you the sale they had on. So, not only were many of the products already on sale, but there was also 50% everything in store! Oh man, so dreamy.

I ended up picking this beautiful beautiful pink trench coat. It's so lightweight, and the perfect length for a short girl like me. It makes a perfect companion to my all black outfits that I so often wear. All for the price of £51.00. I know you hate me all don't you, I'm sorry.

All Saints have one signature product that they always stock different variations of, and that is satin dresses. I managed to pick up two, the amazing, asymmetric, orange one, and this silvery grey halter neck styled. They're so unbelievably comfortable, and flattering.

I also got one more dress, this black full length number. It is long sleeved, figure hugging and has a dipped hem. If I was my 16 year old self, I would wear this to my prom. It is so beautiful and elegant.

Can you ever have enough black blouses? No, the answer is no you bloody well can't. So for that reason, I bought another. It looks smart, and it's comfortable. A great find on my behalf, if I don't say so myself.

I picked up this long sleeve tee, it's baggy, but combined with ripped jeans and converse it's a perfect casual get up.

French Connection

I saw these boots every time I entered French Connection, and every single time I wanted to buy them but couldn't really bring myself to spend the money on something I didn't particularly need. But for £31, I couldn't say no. So comfortable, and stylish. Paired with any of my All Saints dresses I purchased, they make for my signature look: Ripped Glam.

As with the boots, these grey trousers have been on my radar for as long as I can remember. I was going to buy them at full price originally, but I am so glad I waited as I picked them up for less than £15! Yaaaas bish.

Again. This dress, I have been chasing it. I did actually buy it once, but returned it as I didn't think it was worth the money I spent, but for £19.99 I had to, so I did do.

Guysssss, I feel like proper swanky in this coat. It's long, it's navy, it's flattering and it's warm! Honestly, I channel Olivia Pope in this.

Finally, my last purchase was this orange necklace. I bought this to go with my culotte jumpsuit I wore for my birthday, which I will be doing an outfit post on so you can check that out soon.

Thanks for reading guys!
